Credo are delighted to be sponsoring Nick Moore this year, and he has already proved that he is one to watch in the Hyundai Coupe Cup.
Nick had a few words to tell about his weekend.
“It was a busy weekend at Brands Hatch supporting the British Truck Racing Championship. The hot conditions were quickly turning the tyres to mush and the brakes were overheating easily. Qualifying started really well holding P1 for a lot of the session before some of the more seasoned Coupe Cup drivers put in quick laps at the end bumping me down to P4.
Race 1 saw me get a bad start off the line dropping to 8th by turn 2, only to fight back to 5th by the end of the lap where I stayed after a close battle with 4th and 3rd.
Race 2 saw a much better start getting up to 4th after being squeezed against the pit wall before turn 1. By the end of the 1st lap I was in 3rd and had a tough job defending my position for the rest of the race. It was close fought, but we did it!
Overall a positive opening weekend but lots of work to do to get back to the top step!”
