Its not only the team in yellow and green that have gone from strength to strength this year – the fan channel run by two of their most fervent supporters is now most definitely in the Premier League!
Back in 2015, Credo’s founder Simon Gray, who passed away late last year, was a great believer in helping young people get into business and spotted the real talent of a young lad named Jack Reeve.
Jack had a vision of bringing football fans together and created Talk Norwich City with his good friend Chris Reeve. In their words…
“The aim of Talk Norwich City is simple, to engage fans over the one thing we all love – Norwich City. TalkNorwichCity is the best place for fan discussion, latest news, match day coverage and big opinion.”
Over 6 years later, Simon would be proud to see that both Jack & Chris are now celebrating 4 years of the TNC podcast, and are now topping 15,000 people watching the TNC Watchalong on every Norwich game. They were also featured on ITV Anglia last week to talk about the Watchalong that has become a firm fixture with fans….
“It was wonderful to be featured on @itvanglia this evening. We’re so glad the watchalongs have brought smiles to the faces of #NCFC fans – we never thought a clip of Chris downing a Lacons would be live on ITV”
We asked Jack how Credo’s sponsorship of the TNC brand has helped and we were delighted to hear his response.
“Credo put belief in TalkNorwichCity before anyone else, becoming our first ever sponsor back in 2015. I met Simon at a Norfolk summit as a fresh faced teenager and he believed in the vision of TNC – his support meant so much at the time and his legacy lives on through the wonderful team he created.”
“Seven years on and TNC has gone from strength to strength, we have surpassed 21,000 subscribers and we’re closing in on 10,000,000 YouTube views. Without Credo’s wonderful support, we wouldn’t have been able to continue. Not only has the financial support enabled us to purchase expensive computer and camera equipment, but the guidance from Simon, Ian and Fran has been priceless.”
“There’s a reason why Credo are so well respected in the Norfolk and wider communities, they have people who care and over the last 6 years I’ve seen that first hand. TNC provides a thriving and safe community for Norwich City fans and Credo are a massive part of making that happen.”
Thank you Jack, all of us here at Credo are proud to be involved in the Talk Norwich City success story and are delighted to continue supporting this fantastic venture as it goes from strength to strength.
