The weekend started off wet, windy and gloomy including a disappointing grid place for Lewis Galer after Saturdays qualifying race.
However, the gloomyiness of Saturday was well behind him for Race Day on Sunday and he was up for the challenge. he certainly didn’t disappoint after gaining 10 places on the first lap securing a 14th place finish in Race 1.
Lewis then managed to hold on to 13th place in Race 2 after some spectacular driving.
Lewis stated “It was a real solid weekend and i’m really pleased with how Race Day went. I’m now coming to the end of my GCSE exams, so hopefully I can then concentrate even more on my racing and get some more testing in”
We all wish you the best of luck with your exams Lewis, and when you have all this time off in a few weeks time, I’m sure you will spend it at the race track! Looking forward to Round 3 at Donington.
