We are so delighted for Tom that he reached the podium in race three at Donington Park at the weekend.
Credo have supported Tom through sponsorship since he was karting at 8 years old, and knew he had fantastic potential. Tom is now racing at Formula three level since winning the championship at the Junior Ginettas last year, and we are thrilled that this local star is continuing to achieve his dreams!
Tom, who is with Elite Motorsport said after the race:
“It was so tough out there today. Coming through the pack round here is really difficult but I managed to take advantage of some incidents on the track and then backing up on the inside of the first lap. It was really hard but I managed to keep my head towards the end of the race and it’s a really good result.
“I looked for the spaces and looked ahead, looked who was around me and what sort of drivers and the stuff that goes on with different drivers. I took advantage of people and it worked.
“It’s a massive step from Ginetta Juniors, people don’t realise how different the technique, the driving, the racing, the dirty air and it’s so different to what I’m used to. But we’re really getting there and going forward with the team, the set-up and the development.”
