As the year comes to a close and we prepare for 2020, we are reflecting on our highlights from 2019!
Charity
We are proud to have raised over £70,000 for our chosen charity The Community Sports Foundation, through endless fundraising from our team. In July Mikey, Jordan, Lewie, Connor, Fran, Donna & Lynne all did us proud at Run Norwich. Lynne also ran the London Marathon and smashed it! In September we also held our annual Charity Golf Day.
October saw Simon, Ian, Fran & Lynne set off on an adventure round Europe with 16 teams on our very first Canaryball Rally. Despite a few bumps along the way everyone had an amazing trip and it was hailed a success with a large amount of money raised for CSF.
Motorsport
We have been really racing ahead this year with Credo Motorsport – it was our first year in the BTCC and we will be doing it all again next year! It was also our first year in F2 and this has catapulted us into something new and exciting. The Mini Challenge has now taken up the TOCA package and will be shown on ITV4 alongside the BTCC – exciting times!
All of our drivers – Lewis Galer, Toby Goodman and Nick Moore have had great seasons and we are keeping our fingers crossed for them in the next season.
Assets We Have Financed
This year we have financed some weird and wonderful things including a Roller Mill & Flour Separator for a local watermill, a wood chipper, a school minibus, a plasma cutter and a sheet metal shaper! It’s not just cars and vans we finance (although we love those too!)
2019 saw our own book lending really grow, as well as adding funders to our list of lenders. This helps us to customise our service according to the customers needs even more.
Overview
We think you’ll agree 2019 has been a good one! But 2020 will be a really special one as we move into our new offices at the beginning of January. We couldn’t have done it without the support of our wonderful customers, dealers and partners and we look forward to a new year and a new chapter!
