It was a sad ending to what was a fabulous qualifying on Saturday for Toby EXCELR8 Motorsport who was in 1st position on the grid for Race 1. He kept his position for the first few laps until Josh Porter in the Cooper Ams had a bad accident which meant a delay and another start. Toby still kept his lead until the last lap where he unfortunately skidded off and ended up with some damage to the car.
Credo are supporting Toby Goodman Racing this year, and we have renamed his car as our ‘Credo Car’.?
However Sunday, with it’s beautifully clear skies promised not to disappoint.
Toby worked slowly but surely through the pack to guarantee himself a podium place, and even won more points for the weekend lap record, in fact he nearly broke the all time Cooper lap record, what an achievement!
