Having finished 2nd out of 65 racers in the 2017 Ginetta Junior Scholarship, and having already secured sponsorship from Hadley & Ottaway Removals, the sponsorship from Credo has helped Lewis to make the step up and enter the 2019 Mini Challenge JCW Championship. We couldn’t be more delighted to be sponsoring this young and very talented 16 year old from Litcham.
Round 1 of the JCW MINI Challenge took place this weekend at Oulton Park and after the qualifying laps on Saturday, Lewis was set to start race 1 at position 18 out of 26 racers.
In Race 1 on Easter Monday, Lewis managed to push through from his 18th place start to a fantastic 12th place finish – watch race 1 here.
In the afternoon, Race 2 saw Lewis start on the grid at 12th and he managed again to battle through to an amazing 10th place finish – watch race 2 here
A great start to Lewis’s debut season and we are excited to see what he can do on his home turf at Snetterton on 19th May.
