This weekend was the first round of the BTCC – British Touring Car Championships held at Brands Hatch. Credo Motorsport Finance are delighted to be supporting Excelr8 Motorsport this year in these championships.
Qualifying day on Saturday was a very wet one, which for both Sam Osbourne and Rob Smith (Excelr8 Motorsport) meant that Sunday was going to be an uphill battle!
However, both were finally able to show their true potential in race 3 and Rob Smith finished just outside the points and lapping faster than the pace-setter from Media Day one place ahead of him.
Considering the weather and the fact this was the first time Excelr8 Motorsport had ventured into the BTCC, everyone did amazingly well and should be truly proud of their efforts. Everyone is looking forward to the next round at Donington Park in three weeks time.
