Credo Asset Finance have announced that their sponsored charity this year will be the Community Sports Foundation, Norwich City’s official charity partner.
Having raised over £23,000 for CLIC Sargent, the cancer charity for young people, this year Credo’s staff will focus their fund-raising efforts supporting phase two of The Nest project, the new multi-purpose community hub serving all of Norfolk.
Credo’s MD Simon Gray said “Credo has grown into an award-winning business that helps private individuals and companies get funding for vital purchases, but our roots are very much in Norwich and Norfolk and this year we wanted to give something back to the local community.”
CSF’s Senior Fundraising and Event Manager, Emma Fletcher, said “We are delighted that Credo have chosen us to be their Charity of the Year and we are really excited to be working with them. They have some exciting events lined up and we can’t wait to be part of it.”
Credo were invited up to the Nest to see phase one of the development and were greeted by two former Norwich players, Adam Drury and Simon Lappin, who both now work for the Community Sports Foundation.
